COMPLAINT: Unsafe Driver
Truck he was driving
This driver was coming down highway US 1 in Cocoa, Florida this morning. His license plate is GEK 942. I was in the driving lane of a two lane southbound road, which then turned into the middle lane when the southbound side turns into three lanes just north of the intersection with highway 528.
Your driver was in the passing lane, cut across the lane I was in, VERY close to the back end of my car, proceeded into the driving lane and started speeding away. (Right after it turns into three lanes, the speed drops to 45, and I was still doing 60 when he passed me.) Because of his driving, I pick up my phone to take a picture of his plate at the light. (Up to this point, I was on the phone with my daughter through the hands off feature on my car.) When I did that, he opened his truck door stepped out with his phone and took a picture of me! He then started to yell at me! Including, “I know where you live!” “I’ve got your plate too!” Your driver continues to keep up with me, yelling at me for about a mile, before I took a quick lane change and left hand turn.
This is seriously concerning! I’m an a disabled woman, which would have been easy for him to see with the handicapped placard in my front window. So having him scream and threaten me does scare me. I have both cell phone service and cable/internet service with your company, so it won’t be all that hard for him to find me! I have a video of him yelling at me. Once he realizes that I’m recording him, he changes his tune. I’m willing to share the video with you too.

Rather than posting on a message board, you need to call your local police department.
Don't mess with old people. The older we get, the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent.

Thank you. The reason I posted here was that I have learned that large companies like this usually do a much better job of policing their own than law enforcement does. I would hate to have a deputy spend hours on investigating this when I didn’t get the threats on video, only him yelling at me. I was hoping just for AT&T to handle it internally.

@Kathylynne at&t does handle things internally and they do not tolerate this behavior at all , however this isnt at&t this is a public customer to customer forum, i suggest you call 800-288-2020 and ask to speak to asset protection, and it is a possibility that attcares may see this and reach out to you
While AT&T employees do look at forum posts from time to time, we are here to represent the forum with our experiences as customers and do not represent AT&T in any official capacity with our responses and do so on our own time unpaid and off the clock. As employees we are not rewarded nor compensated to participate in these forums This forum is comprised of regular customers to communicate with other customers to offer advice and share experiences same as any other user Although there is a small team of customer care specialists that monitor the forums the sheer volume of posts are simply too many posts for these agents to respond to each one of them.

Hello @Kathylynne
I apologize for the late reply, and I'm very sorry for the issue with one of our drivers. I will go ahead and forward your feedback to your fleet management group for investigation.
Thank you,
Dmitriy

(including the video) to your company without any response from a
supervisor up to now. That is extremely frustrating and very disappointing.
Your driver’s behavior while in a company truck, representing your company,
was extremely unacceptable. It is even more concerning since your company
has and will be continuing work in my neighborhood. You can’t imagine how
it feels to see an AT&T truck outside my house or coming down my street and
wondering if this guy DOES know where I live like he stated. I feel that
your company just is not taking his behavior and my concerns seriously.
