HDMI Cable

Hi folks. I purchased a 50' HDMI cable for a 2nd TV but it says no signal. When I use the cable from the 1st TV, it works fine, so it's obviously the cable I bought. It's an RCA HDMI from Menards that says its good for video and digital audio. Can you suggest where I should get the right cable? Needs to be 50'. THANKS!

I didn't realize Uverse was accessible on a firestick.

That or running the cat cable are the simplest options.

I was just tunnel visioned on HDMI cable. I'm not super tech savvy obviously lol.

the uverse app isn't really available on firestick anymore(legally) and doesn't really work most the time anyways, and is only available for specific channels while connected to home wifi, and doesn't allow pausing or dvr access.

The other users are talking about getting the games from other sources like mlb.tv instead of via uverse on a streaming stick.  I don't watch baseball so I don't know how expensive that ends up being or if you get access for having a uverse account.

Thanks Max. Not available legally lol 😉

Yea, I appreciate the suggestions on other sources. I was just looking for a way to get it with my current Uverse subscription, and not put out additional money. This running the cable.

Last I checked you can still run the U-verse app on FireTV and could still download it from the Amazon Store.  I would assume that's "legal" enough for most folks.  But that doesn't mean it's the best solution.  Other providers (Bally Sports and ESPN for instance) have apps that also work on FireTV.

@JefferMC the last time I got a new fire tv I couldn't install it and another fire tv wouldnt let me log in.  But I just tried now and it worked so the app must've just been down that day.

I just tried it now and it worked, although I can't see any reason to ever use the app.  Since I just use channels own far better apps.  Also it's super broken in some menus where there's no selection shown and you just have to count your clicks and hope your on the right option to select.   And it doesn't even let you manage dvr like the phone apps.

channe.

I guess in the super rare event, if there was a live event and my tv services were down but my wifi was still up so I got home channels, and I didn't have access to a friend's directv stream account then I'd consider using it in desperation lol.

Sometimes the U-verse App actually has better picture quality and better pause/FF than the channel App (the Bally App comes to mind on that).  And it is more convenient than switching Apps... when it works.  But it is clearly no substitute for a U-verse TV Receiver, and isn't intended to be.
