Music Choice Playlist Issues

Hello...not sure if anyone else has had this problem...but everytime my husband and I create a playlist, after going through the A-Z list of videos to save to the playlist...it deletes it and we have to start all over. How can I retrieve those list? or why is it that the playlist is deleted or lost when I'm in the middle of trying to save a video to the playlist? Am I hitting the wrong button or what is going on? Thanks!!

Hi @Swiff529,

 

I apologize about the issues you are having with the Music Choice playlist, but I will be glad to help. Try rebooting the U-verse TV receiver by unplugging it and plugging it back.

If that still does not work, you can try a non-destructive recovery. To do so:

 

  1. Unplug the power on the receiver
  2. Plug the power back and you will see 3 dots on the screen.
  3. Repeat steps 1 and 2, three more times
  4. After that, you should see a gear on the screen

We have the same problem. Great video selection but worthless if you can't make playlists. The problem isn't rebooting the receiver, that's a stock answer for everything. That's what customer service told us to do to no avail.

How about Pandora or Spotify.

 

You can connect your computer to the TV - https://sewelldirect.com/articles/PCtoTV.aspx

 

OR just connect the audio or comnnect audio to an even better sound system.

 

The least expensive Zvox is a wonderful thing.

Thanx for input, have state of art sound system in our media room already 🙂

 

Problem is, Music Choice has a killer selection of music videos that I want to organize into playlists. It cannot be done as playlists disapear, for me at least, after a few hours of populating them. That's the issue, disappearing and, therefore, worthless. Two days in a row. 4 hours each day. I won't even get into the intermittent streaming at "prime time". 17mbs connection (minimum of 6 recommended).

IIRC, Music Choice will be going away in a few months anyway.
