Plans to support more than 8 devices?

Are there credible plans to support more than 8 devices?  I really need 11, though I would be content with 10.

Thoughts?

It would help if you mentioned where you saw that there was a limit of 8 devices.

EDIT: Oh, sorry, I see that you're posting in the Receivers sub forum.  Hard to tell that these days.  Well... given the 4 live stream limit and the 3 streams off the DVR limit, usually the 8 receiver limit is the least of people's worries.

What would you do if you could have 8 receivers such that the other limits wouldn't impact you?

You can only have eight devices but if you had Time Warner Cable before you could probably just plug your tv in to the cable jack and get service. That's what i did.
