Recent service left cable strung across my lawn with too little slack even to bring it to an exterior wall

Hello,  ATT recently requested to upgrade my service which involved a technician installing a new cable to my home.  I said great, come on out.  However, unlike the original installation, the technician strung a new cable diagonally across my lawn to a hole that he drilled at the back of my home, leaving too little slack even to attach the cable to an exterior wall.  To mow my lawn, I have to laboriously shift the cable out of the way in stages.  Is this typical of ATT installations/upgrades?  Am I expected to bury the cable myself?  Should I request a new service visit?

Call AT&T and submit complaint about incomplete, sub-standard install. See about requesting a tech back out to properly finish the work.

@Juniper Thanks.  Since I posted that, I chatted with ATT cust support and they actually already had a date set to return to finish the job that I didn't know about.  Cheers.
