TV picture Freezes
Wireless tv receiver VAP 2500 freezes occasionally at night after tv has been on several hours. Unit is 6 years old and normally works fine. Rebooting works most of time, but not all the time.

So the WiFi extender has no bearing on U-verse TV, @tjdooley42
Clearly the signal is very marginal. Anything you can do to reposition the hardware to increase the number of bars will work to your advantage.

The VAP2500 is a WAP. What settop box are you connecting to it? Should ne seeing full bars for a reliable stream.

Arris VIP 2500 is the settop box and the WAP is the VAP 2500. Settop box usually show 1 or 2 bars. Sometimes 3. Have a wi fi extender in room for computer which works great. WAP is downstairs and TV is upstairs. Needed the wi fi extender because the signal was to week upstairs due to wires in the walls. TV works great most of time. Seems like only in evening and when unit has been running for couple of hours.

Moved the VIP 2500 about 2 feet and the strength of the signal improved so the picture has not froze since the reposition.
