Uverse Radio Frequency Remote
I had Uverse TV installed today and was hoping to get rid of Direct TV. My house is prewired and connections and boxes are deliberately located in cupboards to maintain a clean installation appearance. I have always had Radio Freuquency controls from Direct TV at no additional cost but now ATT wants to charge 60.00 per remote and I have 4 TVs. That should be a part of the standard install and continues my dissapointing experience with ATT. I am tempted to go back to Direct TV since it is not practical for me to leave doors open all over my house so that I can change channels.

@Btrini - There are a lot of different ways to extend IR - Google for it.
Here is one list - https://wiki.ezvid.com/best-ir-remote-extenders?id=adw&gclid=CIPqkKGSiNACFcZAhgodNAsHDw
Probably the least expensive is available from monoprice.com - it rides the HDMI cable connecting te STB & TV.

@aviewer - Thanks for the response. When I first joined Dish network some 6 years ago I had to go that route. When I moved to direct TV they were advanced enough to realize that not everyone can use an IR remote and so offered an RF remote option. I assumed, obviously incorrectly, that ATT would have been at least as considerate, thoughtful and dear I say advanced as Direct TV who they happen to own.
