What streaming device? Does this occur on other devices? What local channel/local channel market specifically are you referring to? What do you mean by ‘not operating’? Is there a picture or sound at all? Does this issue occur on other channels, and if not, for how long has channel 13 been giving you issues?
There are numerous posts here about the problems with KERA channel 13 in DFW. All the evidence is that the problems are with the KERA feed. For a while the channel was closed down on directv. People with OTA report glitches, and these result in the directv feed going blank (directv uses the OTA feed and retransmits it to satellite) Right now it blanks out every several seconds. There is nothing wrong with your equipment and nothing you can do about it.
We just switched from Spectrum to Direct TV Streaming and are having this problem with KERA where the picture flashes on and black. I think we were tricked by the Direct TV sales person because he said (and it is on the list) we would get KERA. I would never have switched. We have a pretty new SONY tv and we never had this problem with Spectrum.
Many post here about KERA's problem with DirecTV and some other providers. There's a statement on the KERA website that they're working on. But it seems to be taking a long time.
