Yeah, they apparently aren't offering that to everyone because I certainly have not received it and we lost our ABC station here because of this garbage.

As of now DIRECTV FOR BUSINESS is distributing antennas to commercial customers only, not residential. You may be able to call in (number in my greeting below) and suggest they send you an antenna.

To use it with your directv genie you’d need either an AM21 module or the LCC (local channel connector kit) as well as an HR44/HR54 since the HS17 Genie server is not compatible with the AM21 or LCC. 

However, you can simply plug it into your TV’s coaxial port and scan for digital channels.

Whoopie a $25 gift card and a free antenna that will eventually cost us another $10 a month increase when we get the local channels back!!!

It's better than nothing that's for sure. Directv could have been less courteous and just told customers to buy their own antenna and suffer the loss of locals even if they paid the monthly bill for them
