DTV Stream on Roku 3500x
On the Roku support page, it shows:
- Roku Streaming Stick (3500X, 3600X, 3800X) and Streaming Stick+ (3810X, 3811X)
However I've not been able to find the channel on the 3500X and ROKU support has not responded to my inquiry. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

From the device do a search for the app.
Also from the Roku Channel Store:

You need to search for the DirecTV Stream App and download it onto your Roku.

I have the same issue. Just got a free old TV from a friend that came with a Roku 3500x attached, and was hoping to get it working so I wouldn’t have to buy another streaming device. After setting up the Roku and linking it to my Roku account, the DIRECTV stream app is nowhere to be found on the new device. It doesn’t come up when I search for streaming channels, and neither does AT&T TV. Guess we’re out of luck. FYI prime video also doesn’t work, and Roku dropped support for the device fairly recently. I just wish DIRECTV didn’t list it under compatible devices when it doesn’t seem compatible at all. At least it can still play Netflix and Hulu.

Perhaps that is why your friend offered the unit to you free. All electronics over time become obsolete. New devices are very cheap and more powerful now.

I’m aware, but prefer to use what I already have rather than buy new, and DTVS website specifically states that model of Roku is supported.

Unfortunately, the entries on the Roku channel store don't show which models are supported for a specific channel (app), so the only way to see is to look using the device, and it is possible there are other reasons it doesn't show besides "not supported".
I initially suspected a Roku update (they rolled out Roku OS 11 starting 4 or 5 months ago) that didn't support the 3500x, but I checked and according to the Roku release notes, they did not drop support for it. It is certainly possible that DTV explicitly dropped support, and as noted, they do not keep the supported device list up to date. To be honest, I'm a little surprised the 3500 (and 2710 and 2720) are still supported (by DTV or Roku) - they use significantly slower processors than the newer units and are 8-9 years old. I guess kudos to Roku for still supporting them, but (especially given the price point) it may be time to put them out to pasture.
All that said, if DTV has dropped support, they need to update their compatibility chart.
