HGTV Go

Why can't we get HGTV Go anymore?  As of yesterday, we no longer can access certain shows on HGTV Go channel.  Thank you .  Jan 24 2021

Works fine for me. What provider are you using? use DirecTV and it works.

For DirecTV Satellite, call 1-800-531-5000.

For DirecTV Stream, call 1-888-429-4023.

Have DirecTV also.  But suppose, after selecting HGTV Go icon from home screen, we choose Unfinished Business or My Lottery Dream Home, then we get a message "This network is not part of your provider package..."  HomeTown and some others still seem available...

That's different then your original question. Just selected My Lottery Dream Home, E1 (Holiday the only 1 I see, works fine. Not sure what you really mean.

Unfinished Business, E1-3 works fine. All the episodes I see.

What device are you using? Tested here with Roku, Fire Stick, and PC via the web.

Let's check together the options to stream from HGTV Go. We recommend you to confirm the channel is currently available on your regular TV channel lineup. Please, keep in mind there are two options: DIRECTV Satellite and DIRECTV STREAM. You can also change your DIRECTV STREAM password to update the information of your online account. Finally, please check the HGTV Go app and your mobile device are up to date.

Using Roku on our TV.  So when TV comes on we have Roku home screen and select from numerous "channels", one of which is Directv, another is HGTV Go.  For watching latest HGTV episodes of their various programs, we access via Directv.  For watch other, previous episodes, we access via HGTV Go.

Ok. Just for information purposes it's DirecTV Stream not DirecTV. DirecTV is satellite and DirecTV Stream is internet.

 Not all content may be available at certain times for a provider. DirecTV Stream does not control the content. The broadcaster does.

For DirecTV Stream, call 1-888-429-4023.

I am trying to watch shows on hgtv app.  I am logged in with my directv satellite account.  Some shows give me an error message saying they are not available with my service.  Specifically renovation island season 3 all episodes after episode 1

DirecTV satellite and DirecTV Stream are 2 different subscription services. Credentials cannot be interchanged.

This is the forum section for DIRECTV STREAM, which is a separate provider from traditional DirecTV (satellite).

That being said, many networks do not authorize all their content even when logged in with your TV provider (whether you access through a browser on the web or the app). I believe many do this so you are encouraged to pay for the channel's streaming service.
