Hulu app not working
I have a Hulu account. I have used it on DirecTV Streaming for several years. A few days ago it started giving me an error when I start any show. Hulu is loading but no shows will play. I uninstalled it, reinstalled it, cleared the cache and data. Hulu tried to help me for an hour and they couldn’t get it to work. I can watch Hulu on my iPad, PC and on the app on my LG smart TV so it’s not my account or bad internet. I have 2 DirecTV Streaming boxes and it won’t work on either box. It’s obviously an issue between the app and DirecTV Streaming, but when I called them all they did was say try the things I already did, it’s Hulu’s issue and they had no other reports of issues. I’m in Houston 77018. I don’t know if anyone else has had this problem.

There is an issue with Osprey specifically—Hulu is incompatible with a specific version of AndroidTV. It stopped working for me yesterday on 2 Ospreys but works on Gemini Air and all other devices. Use Disney+ if you have it to watch Hulu content as a workaround. I'm pretty sure an update to Hulu caused this issue. Hopefully they fix it soon.

Update. I tried sideloading the previous version of Hulu from an apk store and same error. I think the problem is the with the Hulu app running the ads. When I attempt to play something the ad logo appears in the upper right hand corner then nothing happens---then the error page. I think this same thing happened a couple of days ago. Hope they get a fix out soon.

I am having the same issue on both my Directv Stream devices (same error messages.) Hulu was no help after two hours on the phone. Disney+ is also inoperative. This has all the markings of a fee dispute between Directv and Holy/Disney.

@rmpaul99 Directv and Disney had a dispute last year that has already been resolved so a dispute is not the issue here. This is some kind of bug either with the Directv devices or on Hulu's end. I am not having any issues on any of my Directv devices with Disney+ so who knows why you are having an issue with it.

Hulu still works on my Gemini Air but still not the Gemini box (Osprey)----this has nothing to do with a fee dispute.

they advised they are no longer supporting or selling the gemini box, so don't think they will do much. My issue started a couple months ago, then suddenly started working, then stopped again.

@JimEcho Mine was working up til last week Also, DTV still supports the Gemini box as they still roll out updates. So this will be fixed.

I'm having the exact same Hulu playback error (Hulu Error Code: P-DEV320) as everyone else. The Hulu streaming problem started on my system beginning last week. I spent 2hrs. with Directv Tech Support and they never could fix it and supposedly they created a ticket number (100544504). Never got any return communications.
I use 5 of the C71 kW - 400 streaming receivers. It looks like they were originally manufactured by ATT because the model number has the ATT logo beside it.
I followed your Tech Support`s instructions exactly. I have restarted all devices, swapped receivers, Log on log off , uninstall and reinstall Hulu app, Blah blah blah and tried everything else in the world but nothing fixed it. They told me they'd get back with me, which they never did.
All 5 receivers have stopped Streaming anything on Hulu. All my other streaming services still work perfectly ie. Netflix, Prime, Peacock, etc..
I have fiber internet. HULU STILL WORKS PERFECTLY ON ALL MY TABLETS. It just stop working on these C71KW-400 boxes feeding my TVs. All my C71KW-400 receivers are being fed directly with hardwired CAT6 ethernet, straight from my router, NO WI-FI. I'm feeding HDMI out of the C71KW-400 boxes straight into the TV's HDMI inputs.
I've used these C71KW-400 for 3 years with no problems. With all the other complaints of this problem, its obviously a legitimate issue. But you continue to deny that you are aware of this issue although it's obvious your lying. Be a professional and take accountability for this defect and notify users when it will be resolved.
