I want My Nexstar Back
Either way we pay. We either pay out of pocket or we pay by not being able to view our favorite programs...I would rather pay out of pocket.
Get your collective crap together and sign the contracts.

You want everyone else to pay for the channels you want. That is greed and entitlement right there. Safe travels and just remember no TV provider is immune so you could go through something similar again.

I guess switching was a dumb thing to do since they just restored the channels back Directv and Nexstar came to a temporary agreement. I just do not understand why people have no patience anymore.

Well some people revolve their lives around the NFL. Understandable something they were looking forward to was going to be gone for awhile being annoying, but that is when use other options as a backup as needed. And it was unknown until the recent announcement if they may have been gone through the end of season.
I just hope whatever agreement they got is minimal impact (cost-wise) to the customer. Though on principal all costs should be passed onto to those like the OP who act like they are entitled to it and expect everyone else foot the bill for them.

Seems like the dispute is over. The Nexstar channels are back.

Not over. Both parties agreed to brink the channels back while they continue to negotiate.

Well not over, but it does seem the end is in sight. The channels have been brought back TEMPORARILY. They are currently hashing out the new agreement. Hopefully it finishes and this doesn't start all over again.
