Yes I also just received the increase notice, also effective on or after January 23rd. Unfortunately that about kills the value of the service for me. Having not been able to resolve the blackout/freezing problem (it's actually gotten far worse than before the recent "upgrade"), a 10% (effectively) price increase on my cost for this technically glitchy service is unacceptable. I hope others decided the same.

I have 'Just Right' under the DIRECTV STREAM package (Grandfathered)

Another $10 increase for me will cause me to change to another Service.

I started at $35 four years ago and now pay $89 with HBO Max now.

Does not matter. Just takes one service to raise prices and soon all the others will follow. Yearly increases will always take place with network increases passed along to subscribers. Happens all the time.

Happening and being reasonable & feasible are entirely different.

Reasonable - if you can not accept it then move on. It want change on your behalf or any others. There are options.

As dumb as it sounds,, I can go back to Spectrum or Verizon for less than Streaming.

Spectrum and Verizon will be raising their prices. But it's nice to have choices.

Then return. Can't take Verizon or Spectrum on the road.

bcbsncjlj - "reasonable" is always subjective, and it frequently entails the user's assessment of "competitiveness" between one product and others. Once the cost of a glitchy streaming service approaches the cost of a technically stable non-glitchy broadband cable service that offers about the same content selections, the consumer looks at comparative value for the cost.

Please do not try to defend a 200% increase (tripled) in price to me since that is exactly what I have experienced since subscribing to DTV streaming service two years ago, with an interlude of it being called "AT&T TV Now".   Originally it was a fair savings over what I had been spending on Comcast. Now the delta is approaching zero.

Verizon or Spectrum both have their own Streaming Apps. Those plans allow for a cart Blanch type of selection of channels that suit the users preferences.

Sounds like you would be happier with Verizon or Spectrum. It's nice to have choices.

There are many individuals like myself that don't require 60+ channels.

The first Streaming Service that lets us pay for exactly what we want will be the winner....

That right - a small offering of channels. Useless - of course you can use the apps that are supported when you travel.

This is still much cheaper than Mediacom cable tv I was paying for before switching over to Dtv stream.
