Something went wrong
I am SICK TO DEATH of getting "Something Went Wrong" or "Hmmmm. This is taking longer than expected" messages on my DirecTv. If I wasn't already moving in about 2 months I'd change to a different company. Resetting is not helping and I'm ready to throw a brick thru my TV and it's not the TV's fault. Does anyone know what I should do?

You are experiencing the same difficulties that everyone is having today! This was not Directv Stream's fault as this was an outage that spanned across multiple streaming platforms today. Fubo, Philo, Sling, and YouTubeTV all experienced the same outage around the same time frame! Hope this helps relieve some of your stress that it was not just you!

Big outage, that apparently doesn't just affect DIRECTV STREAM but other streaming platforms. So this is not tied specifically to your service. Changing streaming providers would not save you.
Though addmitantly, what has to fail to affect multiple streaming providers but no other services? At least it was not the Sorcerrer's Apprentice Syndrome that happened a couple years ago (worst case scenerio that I thought was theoretical and actually happened, yikes).
