33 days and counting

I’ve been waiting 33 days now , and still no resolution to my technical issue with my system. Is this normal or extreme ?  And what should be my next steps ?

This is your first post in the forum. We don't know what technical issue you are talking about.

Please describe the issue in detail (symptoms, error message, etc.). Include the model of boxes you have and anything you may have already tried to resolve the problem.

The system tried to  tape

local programming on channels to do not receive.   Example. CBS is 44.   But system always tried to tape shows on 391.  So I never get them

Channel 391 is the national DNS feed of CBS. Sometimes when recording, especially sports, it will schedule to record on any channel in the guide even if you don't have that exact one authoirzed.

Instead of setting a recording from the Search option, it is suggested to record from the correct channel manually. Go to the specific program in the guide and press the Record button; Once for just that slot or twice to setup a series record (according to your settings). Pressing a 3rd time will turn off that recording.

Unfortunately this is a long standing grivence. The workaround to manually record is all we can do, until sometime in the future (if ever) they can update it.

Manually is an option.   It I cannot do a series pass.    It will jump back to the national channels.  Also when I search , it only shows the 391 , it won’t even show me 44 as an option for the show.   Therefore, I have to go each week through each day and pick each and every local show to record once.   I have screen shots to show how even the search is messed up.

Highlight the series and channel you want in the Channel Guide. Press REC button twice. Then it will record the series from just that channel.
