App
I have Directv Satellite and have been using the App instead of the receivers. I have been able to view all of my channels that I have in my package until yesterday. Now it is only allowing me to stream about 10 channels. All the other channels are saying I can’t stream them due to contractual obligations. I have contacted technical support twice and no one can provide a solution. Anyone else have this issue? Any solution?

Your app may have been updated to the newest app that combines Sat and Streaming into the one app and it has bugs in it, DTVhelp has posted that new updates are coming but their first post said mid July and a newer post says August.

Also the app was never intended to be full service. DirecTV is designed as a residential service with watching on your TVs through receiver/clients. So even once more features are released in the app, you may still not have everything.
And contractual obligations between DirecTV and the channel owners may change to where not all of them allow you free streaming. So anything that is legitimately "contractual obligations" there is no solution. We customers have no say in those obligations.

The app was never full service. There was always content not available on it.
DirecTV is service by satellite. Streaming options were always secondary perks, not to replace the primary delivery method.
Now if you want a full streaming experience you get either DIRECTV STREAM or DirecTV by Internet which are a TV provider option separate from the origional service.
