Cancelling DirecTV

I cancelled DirecTV (on 8-30-24) due to a lack of accurate info from both Pauline and Kessani.  Neither of them disclosed that the 8-30-24 Padre vs. Rays game (which did NOT show up on the programing on 8-30-24) had been nationally blacked out. If they had, I would have understood and hung up. Instead it was "suggested" that I buy another sports package from DirecTV that would "guarantee no blacked out games."  Really? At that point (the call lasted a total of 34+ min., of which I spent most of the time on hold), I got angry and cancelled my subscription, which is too bad because DirecTV is convenient, expensive but convenient.

When I called Apple.tv, MLBTV, Roku, Cox, Hughes.net, etc. I was told immediately of the national black out.

Is this the best that DirecTV can do?

Whenever the Dodgers game is not showing in the guide I know to check their website schedule to find what channel/service has the rights to that game so I know that Sundays game is on the Roku channel so I downloaded it to my Firestick to watch it.
