Cannot upgrade from Select to Choice online.
I know I could just call DTV, but I also like to be able down grade online without calling.

They purposely make it hard to downgrade because they want the opportunity to change your mind and upsell you.

You can select packages. I have the Select package. You can upgrade or downgrade on line. You can even add any of the premium channels or remove them on line. But right now you get this message (Service cannot be processed at this time. Please try again later.) I just asume it a internet computer At&t Direct TV problem. Just wondering if anyone else has the same problem

To go to a lower package or remove optional serivces (downgrade), you have to call. This is so they have the opportunity to minimize the loss of revenue by disucssing the situation and trying to find an alternate option that works for you. In the end, the decision is yours.
As a new co-owner is managing DirecTV and DIRECTV STREAM, options on the website may be in flux because of any background updates that need to be made. If you cannot raise your package online, then you must call.
Sorry but for some things you still must call. And when online has technical issues, calling is your backup.
