CBS local affiliate nor available so why can't I watch Chiefs on my Sunday ticket?

I pay well over $300 for NFL Sunday ticket and get to watch all the games my local TV stations aren't carrying.  So since our local CBS affiliate is no longer on DirecTV I should be able to watch the Chief's games on my Sunday Ticket programming.

Because the NFL blackout rules will not allow in market games on local channels to be broadcast on any other service.   NFL Sunday ticket is only for out of market games so wouldn't be on it anyways.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t matter whether your local channel is available on Directv or not, the NFL blackout rules still apply. Your local channel is available with an over the air antenna even if not available on Directv.

NFL Sunday Ticket is for out-of-market games.

In-market games are on local channel.

Local channel going through negotiations does not change what is in-market or not.

If the Chiefs are in-market for you, then per the NFL rules you cannot watch on Sunday Ticket. CBS not on DirecTV makes no difference
