Channels

I live in Ocean County NJ. Why can't we get News12 (a NJ news station) and we can't get Philly stations or 76er's games on my NBA Pass???

It depends on where the line is drawn for your Designated Market Area (DMA) based on your physical service address. If you are near or on the border of a DMA, your county might matter as well. No TV provider has control over this as it is Federaly regulated in conjunction with the local network affiliates.

When I used to go down to Ocean County they would get all Philly locals and no NY or NJ locals at all. Beside, DIRECTV doesn’t even have NJ12, we get the NY locals (WABC, WCBS) instead.

If you can’t get Philly locals, what locals do you get instead? You may have a Favorites list that prevents the local channels from being seen.

As far as the 76ers go, I’m sure you get a 727 error when viewing them? What error do you get when trying to view 76ers games?

If you live in the Philly DMA then you won't get NY locals. If you get Philly locals you won't get the Philly sports on your NBA pass because they are on one of your locals.
