Code to program remote

We have a few options to help you find a remote code for your new TV.

For most brands, you will finds codes in the remote programming section of the receiver or through our online code lookup tool.  However, as you have already found, Onn Brand TVs are still pretty new for us and we currently do not have any Onn specific codes.

We have had success, though, using Durabrand or RCA codes.  RCA codes seem to be the most successful with the current models available. 

When in the remote programming section of the menu:

1. Choose Durabrand or RCA as the TV brand
2. Choose “I don’t know my model” in the model selection. This will prevent the receiver from limiting the codes it will try.
3. Follow the on-screen steps as listed

These two brands will give you the best option in finding a code that works; keep in mind, we cannot guarantee the DIRECTV Remote will work your television’s volume and power.
