College Football

Do you have to get the NFL package or NFL channels in order to get ESPN and College Football channels?

College football shows on Regional Sport Networks (RSNs). In Choice and above you get your market's RSNs. The Sports Pack would provide you all the other RSNs that DirecTV carries. Sports Pack is $13.99, or less if you have any of the other 4 premiums (HBO, Starz, Showtime, Cinemax) as they bundle into each other. As a note any professional games on RSNs are blacked out if they are not your in-market ones. https://www.directv.com/sports/sports_pack

ESPN and ESPN2 are in Entertainment and above.

ESPNews and ESPNU are in Choice and above.

ESPN Classic is in the Sports Pack.

NFL is professional football, so has nothing to do with the college games. The NFL Sunday Ticket is for out-of-market professional games, each Sunday during the season. NFL games that are in-market would be on a local channel instead.
