Direct TV app for Roku
Hi. I have an active DIRECTV plan, but was wondering if there is a way I can stream it to my Roku via an app. I tried DIRECTV Stream, but received care code 205.4.

Sorry, there is no Directv app for a Roku or any other streaming device. The Directv app is for phones and tablets only. Directv Stream is a totally separate service, that’s why your Directv credentials don’t work.

There is no DirecTV app for Roku. This is because DirecTV is service by satellite and you pay for each authorized TV on the service. Any streaming perks are secondary, not intended to allow you a way around paying for a TV. The DirecTV app is for on mobile (phone/tablet) only.
DIRECTV STREAM is a completely separate TV service. It is the new name of AT&T TV or AT&T TV NOW, which before that the original name was DIRECTV NOW. This is a streaming only provider, so think in the realm of Netflix, Hulu or other such providers. Unfortunately they keep confusing people with the similar branding.
So DirecTV and DIRECTV STREAM have nothing to do with each other. You cannot use the DirecTV app to watch on a TV.
