Direct TV not playing

What are you using to stream?  Have you tried resetting your device?

I am not streaming. I'm using satellite TV

Then you are not a DirecTV Stream subscriber but a DirecTV satellite subscriber.

Instead of DirecTV you are seeing regular broadcast/over-the-air antenna channels? If so, use INPUT or SOURCE to change back the input DirecTV is plugged into (HDMI-1, HDMI-2, etc.).

DTV remotes usually don't have the codes to change the TV channels you need the TVs remote.

Old white universal remote (RC6X series) has mode selection switch to go to TV only. Has dedicated TV INPUT button (has to be programmed after setting for TV).

New RC7X series (Genie or "Peanut" style), the lower right ENTER button says INPUT right next to it. Hold down and it activates INPUT mode. That either allows you to keep clicking it to cycle through inputs, or pulls up your TV's input selection screen if it has one.
