This error is appearing on channels that don’t have TV EVERYWHERE functionality. In other words, they require the presence of a HD DVR receiver in order to work. You’ll need to verify that both your receiver and computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. If your receiver is networked via Ethernet, just be sure it is connected to the same router or access point as your computer’s connected WiFi.
Afterwards, the computer should recognize the receiver and all should go well. Just to be sure, what is the main receiver model? It should be starting with HRxx.

For common errors, hit that RED reset button!

What channel is it? It depends on whether the channel has TV EVERYWHERE functionality or not.

You have to log into your DTV account to watch the available channels on a PC/laptop or use the DTV app or download the program to a mobile device. DTV dropped support for using the app to stream from the DVR outside of the home network years ago. You can't stream from the DVR to a PC/laptop.

Hi @cschroeder, your post has caught our attention.
Also, @detuch254 thanks for your quick and accurate response.
DIRECTV receivers need to be connected to the same internet network to work, however, you can enjoy some great channels accessing the third party apps with your DIRECTV credentials. in this link you can find the different channels available to be streamed whenever you want:

@cschroeder the USA Network does have TV EVERYWHERE functionality.
If the website doesn’t work, you can try going to this link:
https://www.usanetwork.com/mvpd-picker
choose DIRECTV as your TV Provider and use your regular credentials to log in. From there, you can watch LIVE content and some on-demand.
