Hi there. DIRECTV Sports Pack covers pro and college teams live with over 20 specialty sports networks, including NFL RedZone, NFL Network, NBA TV, MLB Network, NHL Network & Willow TV.
The Sports Pack adds over 35 Regional and Specialty sport networks, mostly in the 600s. It is primarily for college sports. The Red Zone channel is on 211, on Sundays, during the season.
You get your in-market Regional Sport Networks (RSNs) if you are in Choice or higher. If the package you have is Entertainment or lower, the Sports Pack can be a cheaper way to get your RSNs than raising to Choice.
The Sports Pack does not override blackout rules. So any professional games that are out-of-market would still be blacked out.
Be aware sometimes a local channel gets the rights to an in-market game. In those cases you would watch on the local instead of the RSN, even if DirecTV does not have an agreement with the local (so having to use antenna instead).
As a precaution, it is suggested to look up the channels or viewing rules before adding or changing programming to make sure you are getting an option good for you.
