DirectTV app for iPad recent update
I just updated the app for my iPad and the app crashes every time I try to launch it. I’ve tried several times and even powered down my device. Please fix it!

Here is more information on how to troubleshoot the DTV App.
We recommend that you uninstall and reinstall the app, because this will refresh it.

I’m having this issue as well. The app closes while validating user data. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have done a hard reset on the iPad. Neither of these things worked.
Based on the posts here and in the App Store I would say the release today is buggy. Please get it fixed.

I don’t use the iPad app very often but can confirm I have the same issue. App just crashes. I’ve got an iPad Air on ios 12.4.5. Based on other complaints, I think it’s pretty clear the app update is the problem.

My app wasn’t crashing but was sitting in eternal loading mode. I was able to fix it by going to my iPad settings, scrolled down to the bottom section that lists all the apps -> select Directv -> TV provider -> switch off.
When I opened the app again, I was able to log in.
I then went back and turned the switch back on.
