Directv now access

Do you have to have a separate DirecTV Now account to stream on  Toku? And if so does it cost more?

Yes, to access DirecTV Now you must have a DirecTV Now account which is separate from a traditional DirecTV satellite account. The pricing information can be found in the link below:

DirecTV and Directv Now are two separate TV providers. Both are owned by AT&T, along with Uverse.

DirecTV is by satellite. The DirecTV app is not available on Roku as it is not intended for TV viewing, only mobile. Some channels in your package may have their own app for a Roku that you can use.

Directv Now is streaming only. Relies on devices like Roku as streaming is the only way it is delivered.
