Distant network station grandfather status
I recently received an email from Directv that stated Distant Station networks were not renewed by Congress and would be discontinued on June 1, 2020. Are those of us that have been grandfathered to receive these stations for years, in my case over 20 years, still able to receive these stations such as Fox east and west since we are grandfathered in previously?

I also pay extra for all the NYC East channels so I can access them in my RV. Will those still be available?

@golfnut7, do you have an RV waiver? I'm not sure if this affects those with tv waivers I haven't been able to find any info about it yet.

The only reason there is an RV account is to get the DNS channels I don't think that will change. The only reason that the DNS channels where allowed to be use by residential home owners is because DTV back then didn't carry the local channels and the FCC allowed waivers signed by the local channel to allow DTV to use them.
