Do I need AT&T and Spectrum

I'm paying for both Spectrum  internet ($101) and At&t  ($89).  I have a Roku stick.  I watch mostly News FOX, MSMBC, CNN and some sports using Directv.  I get close to 200 channels but only watch about 10.

I have a cable box and a router

My question is do I need both of these to watch directv.  Can I ditch one of them?  thanks

You don't need an internet connection to use DTV sat service however you will not get On Demand, start from the beginning or the new signal saver that switches to internet when the signal is lost or pay for PPV with the remote.

You are allowed to ditch one, Satellite DirecTV doesnt require internet connection, but On-Demand will not be able to use or buying CINE through your DirecTV reciever.

DirecTV is service by satellite so doesn't need internet at all. Having it connected to internet is just for optional On Demand content.

If you have DIRECTV STREAM / DirecTV via Internet, those are internet streaming services. They don't care who your internet is through as long as it has a good enough connection.

There is no service that I am aware of that requires you to have multiple internet providers. That wouldn't make sense.
