once again DTV is no help. they should have someone avalible 24/7 for the price i pay, ATT you destroyed a great product you (Edited per community guidelines) and so do your phones

This has nothing to do with AT&T acquiring DirecTV. Per the global pandemic of Covid-19, they had to shut down call centers and put additional employees on extended leave because of mandated stay at home orders. Doesn't matter how much you pay, they had to follow the governmental orders. They are doing what they can while being severely understaffed.
Alternatively, you could post the details of your issue and other customers (and the occasional "employee" off the clock) might be able to find a solution or give guidance.
If you only want official support, then call DirecTV as normal. Though be prepared for the long hold times because of Covid-19.
