Fox Channel
My husband & I have been a Directv customer since 1999. We are ready to change providers (which we don’t want to do) if we don’t get The Fox channel back in the line-up by the end of this billing cycle. We have been nothing but loyal customers & feel it’s your turn to be loyal to your customers now. Get on the ball & resolve this now!

Sounds like you are a DirecTV customer, you have posted in the DirecTV Stream forum.
By posting here you are talking to customers, just like yourself. No one here can do anything about getting a channel you want.

We are sorry to hear that you are no longer getting your local fox channel but we cannot help you here as we are all just customers just like you. Unfortunately, every TV provider has these disputes no matter who your TV provider is. It makes the customers unhappy but the blame should not be on Directv's end as the local channel you wish to see has been pulled by the channel as they want to charge Directv more money to air this channel which means in the long run you and all of us end up paying more for our services. The party that you should be contacting about this issue is your local channel they are responsible for you not having it.

Contact your local Fox station. Local tv stations have greedy owners. Blame them.

@Pamike951
This has nothing to do with you being a loyal customer or not. They are "on the ball".
Fact is, DirecTV does not own your local Fox affiliate or any other channel in your package. They have to negotiate to carry them. Unfortunately the carriage agreement came up during a critical sports time and the affiliate owner is using that so they can leverage customers (yes so they can use you as a negotiating tool). Your loyalty to Fox doesn't stop them from using you as such.
Would you prefer DirecTV just cave to the high rate demands and raise up our bills accordingly? That is what will happen if they just resolve it now instead of trying to minimize any cost increase. (ideally avoid, but realistically network owners just increase their costs year after year and TV providers cannot stop them).
Changing providers will not save you. All go through negotiations. This is just DirecTV's turn with that channel owner.
Just plug in a regular antenna and get the free broadcast of Fox or any other locals in range you might not get from DirecTV.

Huh? Your only comment in this thread is the one asking about a comment.

@Juniper
A comment was directed toward Ludwick577 stating as an ACE he should leave his ideology out when responding to a post. Now it is missing. Care to elaborate on how a comment is removed?

@chasf00 Calling local station owners “greedy” is not ideology, it’s an opinion. Perhaps your comment was deemed inappropriate or a violation of forum guidelines and removed by a moderator.

Do you think posting here is going to get your problem fixed?

Sounds the same as Biden calling oil companies greedy. Not part of his opinion. As for the missing post, why isn't the repost removed, it is the same concept?

Doesn't matter if an ACE or not. We are all free to share our opinion or idealology as long as it doesn't violate the forum guidelines.
Sorry but I don't get some notice on comments being removed, moved, merged, etc. So I don't have much to elborate on. But from what you mention here, I suspect it was probably in the realm of toxic or inappropriate as deemed by the moderators.
Was your post and the one you say you were responding to in this thread to begin with? If not, at the very least it was in the wrong thread.

I sometimes get notifications that there is a response in a thread I have commented on but when I go to the thread there is nothing.

If I am mentioned, or there is a comment in a thread I have been (provided I haven't unsubscribed from that discussion), then yes I get an email notice. But I do not get a notice about changes to a comment after it has been made neither removed or even if the commentor edited it.
So a comment was made, and likely removed by a moderator based on context here (as opposed to a technical glitch not saving the comment), which I have no info on as I didn't know about it until @chasf00 brought it up in a seemingly unrelated thread.

Sorry @chasf00 I don't have the exact answer you are looking for on that prior comment.
However, I have noticed that your more 'toxic' comments throughout the year have been directed at @Ludwick577 . Pehaps take a step back as almost seems like you have it out for them personally. I wouldn't be surprised if that was a factor in the comment you asked about. But again, that is just what I suspect as I only knew of this recent comment when you mentioned it.
