fox news channel 360

I have not had this channel all day. What is up? For a while I couldn't get Fox Business Channel, but that is now working. There is no error code, just a blank black screen.

Have you tried to reset your Directv receiver

 

If you’re still having trouble, try refreshing your service. Go to My Equipment & Features and select Refresh my service. A brief service interruption occurs as the service reboots.

@ATTHelp The service returned on its own, but there was no reason. I have been having problems with the receiver. I have had to unplug and restart it now several times. It has been occasionally freezing on a dvr recording, and sometimes on live tv also. This is the first time that a channel wouldn't display. If problems persist, I guess I will try refreshing the service and then contact AT&T/ DirecTV for a replacement of the receiver.

What are the models of each box?

Is it just this one having problems?

If warranty replacement is needed then it is $19.95 delivery, covered if you have their optional equipment protection plan. If this is a DVR/Genie, as opposed to a non-DVR or Mini Genie Client, the recordings will not transfer from the replaced box.

They have some long hold times right now with the Covid-19 situation. Also sometimes they offer an upgrade as an alternative, which may or may not be a good option depending your exact setup. I always suggest getting guidance from experienced customers before possibly getting a newer agent (or new to DirecTV from the AT&T side).

I have not had the problem since, so I will not be posting more. I think the models are pretty old, so if this happens again, I will see about replacing. Thank you.

Glad the problem hasn't continued.

If you do end up needing to replace a box (warranty), or just looking into new possible options (upgrade), post back here first with your exact model numbers. Best to get guidance before you get an agent who goes overboard with options that are not necessarily best for your setup.
