HD channel issue when air temp is high (:watch in low res..."

I get the "watch in low resolution" and pixeling typically as the day warms up.. i have reset my receivers, (Genie 2 and minis), checked most connections, and this morning the signal strength was mostly in the 90s

Does something change as the day gets hot?

Thanks!

If anything the dish is attached to is bending or flexing in the heat, that might cause alignment to shift a bit. If dish has been up for years, it is possible that the alignment already shifted a little over time so that any additional buckle might be just enough to mess with the signal. If that is the case you would call and schedule an alignment.

Though I would look at the setup first to be sure nothing else is going on, something in the line of sight affected by heat moving it further into obstruction, condition of outside wires that you can see, etc.
