HD channels
Only some HD channels are working, I don't have the list of what works and what don't . but if some work they should all work.
I do have an older box but upgrading to the Gini is apparently not an option being this is in my RV.
please any help would be great

Sounds like the satellite dish is not aligned properly. What error message do you get? Does this affect all receivers or only one/some (if you have more than one) What are the receiver models? When did this issue arise?

The sat. signal is 95% on both satellites, 771 I think is the error code. I only have the one box model is HR22-100 problem started about a month ago.

771 says you are not receiving the signal correctly. Almost always means a misaligned dish. And the HD channels come from multiple satellites. What are your signal strengths on the 99c and 103c satellites (look at all the transponders)?

Is that HR22 the only box you have or do you other boxes at home you could test with? What dish do you have on the RV? If that is truly your only box, is it permanently in the RV or do you move it between home install and RV?
Not true. You can have a Genie (HR34, HR44, HR54), but you do want to be careful on the setup chosen. What you cannot have is a Mini Genie Client by itself, as those need the main box to work. Some will have the main Genie at home for the additional tuners and take their regular HDDVR (like your HR22) in the RV. But as the Genie is a full receiver, you could have that exclusively in the RV if you really wanted to.
Now the Genie-2 (HS17) being a server tower that doesn't go on a TV so has to feed clients instead, that one is not recommended for RV users. That is because you would have to move your entire setup from home to RV. So that one model would be a hassle.

Since you currently have an HD receiver, let's try the following troubleshooting to test receiver connections:
- Check the Satellite-In (or SAT-IN) cable to make sure all connections between your receiver and the wall outlet are secure. If any adaptors are connected to the cable, check them too.
- Shows the location of the cable coming from your dish
- If you have a SWiM power inserter attached to the DIRECTV cable coming from your dish, unplug it from the electrical outlet.
- Wait 15 seconds, then plug it back in. Be sure not to plug the SWiM power inserter into a power outlet that can be turned off.
Here there is all the information when getting the error code 771. We'll be attentive to see how it goes.
