History channel

Add the (Edited per community guidelines) history Channel back to everyone's plan. What's wrong with your company. Of all the useless crap channels you include for free like home shopping network you decide to take the History Channel off. It's HISTORY you know teaches kids and ppl things. Whoever made this decision in your company needs fired, very poor business choice. Your gonna lose customers because of this crap

The content providers package their channels to all TV providers just like DTV does to you and like you they can only pick what package they believe suits their customers the best and like you can't change what is in the package.  The shopping channels pays DTV and the other TV providers to be carried.

IIRC History was removed from the lower tier packages last year, it is still there.

Certain A&E networks, including History, were not worth it for the company to keep in lower packages. So they have their updated agreement with A&E on what packages there are in now.

The change happened over a year ago, so threat of losing customers now over it would probably not be a concern. If you can't live without the channel then change to a package that has it or go elsewhere.
