how do I get rid of ad from firstnet

My screen shows a fixed ad from Firstnet. It states to press any button to dismiss screen. This is not working. I can hear audio from the channel that should be visable.

I am having a similar issues. I Dont like my TV's being turned into a billboard for you to display advertisements. You have no right to turn my tv's into a billboard whenever I pause a show. This isn't ethical, its rude, and inappropriate. I'm not paying for ATT tv witch crappy tv boxes just to have my tv's display a screensaver advertisment. I have tried changing DNS Servers, resetting the boxes, disabling screensaver. nada. they still display regardless.

Sincerely,
A very angry customer

medic503 -It's probably coming from your internet supplier and is not controlled by Directv. Use the TV remote to get rid of  it.

Therefore it's att's fault.

These are advertisements for att services. It even advertises their scammy 5g network.

julierobb - you're out of luck. Directv has decided to use the pause to display ads and unfortunately they have evry right to do so. There is no way around this unless you disconnect your system from the internet.

julierobb - if you have atttv you are posting in the wrong forum. This is for directv satellite.

medic503 - see my  reply.

This what happens when a thread has posts from two different people, in this vcase for two different serrvices

@julerobb1

This is a thread for DirecTV. not AT&T TV. You will need to follow the links at the top to get into the correct section of the forum for the service you have.
