How to watch outside

I am a DirecTV subscriber with two receivers in our house.  What is the most efficient way to view our DirecTV programming in an outside space (with power and wifi)?

DirecTV wasn't built for outside, but you have a couple options.

If you have a Genie, you can use a wireless Mini Genie Client. This does not connect to your home WiFi, but a Wireless Video Bridge (WVB) that is wired on the coax. The wireless range is up to 80 fee under ideal conditions. The WVB is an owned accessory that is $99. If you don't have a free upgrade, the Mini Genie would be a one-time lease cost of $99. Either way you are adding $7 to the monthly bill for your additional TV.

If you have a streaming deivce (Roku, Firestick, etc.), you can download specific channel apps. This would connect to your home WiFi. As this is not full satellite service, you don't pay the $7 monthly fee as it is streamed through your internet. Be aware, only some channels have an app and it is up to them what content is available.
