I can’t watch all of my receivers at the same time

I pay to have 5 boxes. It will only let me watch 3 at a time. Why am I paying for five?  6DBF46D2-D7F3-433D-B126-ED0F2FEB4621.jpeg

What Genie DVR model number do you have?

The HR44 and HR54 Genie DVRs have five satellite tuners, but they reserve two tuners for their own use. Each Genie Mini Client uses one tuner, so if you have more than three Mini Clients, then you can only use 3 at a time.

Sounds like you have a Genie with Clients and no receivers. Standard intro offer is for up to 4 TVs which consists of one Genie and 3 Mini Genie Clients.

Genie is a 5 tuner HDDVR. This means it can watch or record up to 5 different channels (tuned into those channels) at the same time.

Because of the Picture in Picture (PiP) feature, the Genie has to keep 2 tuners to itself.

Clients have no tuners, each takes one from the Genie.

This means at max 4 TVs can be in use at the same time (Genie and 3 Clients), though the Genie can pair with up to 8 Clients total.

You would need to have HDDVRs (2 tuners, 500GB recording space) or HD non-DVRs (1 tuner, has Autotune in stead of recording, can watch what the others have recorded) in order to use more than 4 TVs at once or to resolve any tuner conflicts if too many things are recording when trying to watch TV.
