I subscribe to HBO/Max via Amazon Channels. How do I get HBO on my Direct TV Satellite?
When I subscribed to HBO through Directv I also was able to create an HBO account and stream HBO/Max with the their App on all my streaming devices. So I could watch and record HBO using Directv, and also stream using the Max App at no additional cost.
I cancelled HBO on Directv and was think of subscribing to HBO/Max through my Amazon Prime channel, easier to manage with that account.
It seems to me if I do that then I should be able to have HBO on my Directv at no cost.
It should be included both ways, HBO Satellite to Max Stream, and Max Stream to HBO Satellite. I should not need to buy another subscription just because I have a HBO/Max account via Amazon Prime Channel.
How does this work?????

DirecTV and Amazon Prime have nothing to do with each other.
You must be subscribed to HBO through DirecTV in order to watch it on DirecTV.
