If I cannot get rid of full screen popups forever, I will cancel my account.

The genius who thought this scheme up should be fired.  It is so disruptive and annoying, I cannot imagine anyone thinking this would be well received by customers.  Isn't Directv already losing customer base due to exorbitant pricing?  Why would AT&T want to anger customers further?

popup screen? ive never had anything popup

While AT&T employees do look at forum posts from time to time, we are here to represent the forum with our experiences as customers and do not represent AT&T in any official capacity with our responses and do so on our own time unpaid and off the clock. As employees we are not rewarded nor compensated to participate in these forums This forum is comprised of regular customers to communicate with other customers to offer advice and share experiences same as any other user Although there is a small team of customer care specialists that monitor the forums the sheer volume of posts are simply too many posts for these agents to respond to each one of them.

Thank you for pointing that out, however, surely those whose feed contains this offputting interruptive software are surely angry too.  I already gave a customer service rep an earful, respectfully.  Thought there might be some kindred souls out here in the forum.  Thanks for answering.

Just wait.  Eventually this nonsense will annoy you when the software is installed in your area.

I have no idea what "pop-ups" you're referring to. Can you take a photo?  Give us examples?
