intermittent black screen
I have a smart tv by Samsung
2 technicians have been out, still happened
its been going on for months
we call all the time for help, does no good
The way I understand it; I have a dish that is wired to my dtv box under the tv. I think the device is considered my streaming device, correct?
This issue is all over the website for direct tv, Why when I call do they act like they don't know what to do?
A friend fixed her same issue by changing something regarding 5 versus 5G setting.
I don't know what to do!

DirecTV (satellite) doesn't have a streaming device.
Do you have DirecTV (satellite) or DIRECTV STREAM (streaming-only).
Those are two different providers. Unfortunately, AT&T decided to name the newer streaming servcie similar which has caused a lot of confusion.

Ok, you have traditional DirecTV (satellite, not cable). You posted in the DIRECTV STREAM forum. Moving you to the correct one.
Your DirecTV box is your satellite (not streaming) box. What model is it?
5G refers to 5th generation phone service which does not apply to your DirecTV box. However, if you are having trouble with On Demand (which is from internet) and have a wireless connection that might have been referring to the 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz frequency.
Is your issue on all channels or just certain ones?
Are you connected to home internet and if so how?
Any other issues?
