Is ACC Network on AT&T DIRECTV?

I read that DirecTV will carry the ACC channel  when it launches.  I read somewhere  else that the channel  number is going to be 612 but when I tried to update  my custom list of channels there was no channel 612.  Does anyone know  what the  channel number will be?

When I go to 612 its says to subscribe to ACC Network HD text call or go online so that is the channel number.

is the acc network included in ultimate package or extra?

I’ve been told by a representative that it is. I was told by a different representative that it might be, but it also could be based on your zip code. So far, I’m not getting it.

Level of package I don't know off hand, but it is only included if you are in their specific region. If you are out of the channel's region then you get the Sports Pack. So ACCN is being treated as an RSN.

So, since I live on the Atlantic Coast but not in a state with an ACC team, I have to add a sports package to get this one channel? That’s ridiculous. How much will I be gouged for this single channel?

So either your information above is incorrect, or your customer service employees have no idea what they are talking about.  I have the Choice package in Louisiana, and thus cannot get the ACC network (even though it is being advertised that DTV is a national carrier).  When calling to speak to customer service at DirecTV, I was first told that I needed to purchase the additional Sports Pack to access this channel, and then upon the lady verifying that if I pay more I will get the channel, she came back and said that I would not be able to get it with an add-on sports package, and basically I am out of luck since I live in Louisiana.  Pretty dumb since I do have the Big 10 network and live closer to most of the ACC schools and viewing area than any of the Big 10 schools.

If Not on Uverse I guess we have utube tv in our future.  Can’t use a dish at my house and this is a deal breaker.

When will this channel be available on the Directv app?

I need the ACCN on the app as well. I am a new customer, and my installation is not scheduled until September 3. I need it available on the App so I can watch the Clemson game on Aug 29. Go tigers!

You might rethink getting the install if ACC network is d deal breaker. I think AtT is trying to force Uverse users over to Direct TV. A tech told me they not putting any money into Uverse. I can’t use a dish because if trees and will switch to streaming. And oh yes: GO TIGERS

It is channel 612, but there are certain geographical boundaries that determine if you specifically will be able to get the channel. That’s what my problem is here in New Orleans, DirecTV is advertised as a national carrier of the ACCN, but only applies in certain regions.
