KMCI/38 the Spot (Kansas City, Missouri)
I found the following on line about DirecTV broadcasting KMCI/38 the Spot (Kansas City, Missouri) on directv channel 38, but I do not have a channel 38 on my subscription to DirecTV:

The problem, for me, is I don't have a channel 38 on my subscription!

You get a simpler list, mine pulled up one that is a bit more flashy. Just be sure you update the zip code as I think it defaults to something in your general area. Then you scroll down a little to see the locals category.
Yours is an easier view, but I wonder if it is an earlier version that is out of date that hasn't been purged from the website. Of course the more colorful one might be incomplete.

Used to be you would have city and then a separate box for county. Now they both have it formatted just looking like city/state but the one specifically calls it county. They need to clean that part of the website up.

I have DIRECTV stream. I live in Lawrence, ks where the station is licensed. Can I get it on my channel list? I don’t currently find it.

Check the channel lookup. Make sure you put in the correct zip code and county if there are multiple.

AFAIK KMCI 38 doesn't allow/have a streaming option.
