Letter requesting channel removal from lineup
I watch OANN and Fox News Channel all the time because they give me accurate news (which has been fact checked unlike other networks). I am deeply concerned you recently received a request from Democrat Senators to remove these channels from your lineup. The GOVERNMENT HAS NO RIGHT to tell us what we can watch and I hope you will not consider their request. These networks give us accurate accounts of the news (not fake news like other networks). The Democrats are trying to take away our Constitutional rights and I will not stand for it. I have the right to choose what I watch and will not be controlled by the Goverment or the Left.

Don’t worry, Directv is not removing any news channels. It’s too bad some people have no idea what their constitutional rights even are. If Directv were to remove any channel, it would be a business decision and not a violation of yours or anyone’s constitutional rights.

Well that is just what it is, a request and nothing more. So AT&T/DirecTV will continue carrying any channel per their agreements with the networks that brings in subscribers, just like any other TV provider.

We watch One American News (OAN) and Newsmax all the time and hope AT&T will continue carrying these fine news channels. Don't, I repeat don't cancel these news channels as these are the only ones that bring the truth to the (Edited per community guidelines) lies spread by Channels like CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS and NBC. Democrats have no right to tell television carriers to stop broadcasting views that don't fit their narrative. Don't be part of the "Cancel Culture".

We will see. I need to renew my FIOS internet this September. If Directv has dropped OANN then after more then 20 yrs as a Directv customer I will be leaving. Writing emails, calling etc doesn't mean anything to a company but enough people take their money and leave, stock holders notice and CEOs get fired.

DirecTV is keeping OAN through the end of the agreement in April. They have already publicly announced they are not going to renew the agreement.
