Logout roku help

How do you logout from a Roku device? I logged in on one in my hotel room and couldn’t find a way to log out. Can I logout from the DIRECTV website?

Logout of what? You don’t use a roku to watch Directv.

Let me offer more details because this response didn’t address my problem. When I’ve been in hotels in the past, they either had TV through a cable or satellite provider. But this was my first experience where the TV was provided through a Roku service. In order to watch the Olympics on NBC I had to log into my DIRECTV account because Roku didn’t provide access to NBC. From that moment on every time we turned on the TV we were able to view NBC and there was a DIRECTV logo in the upper right corner of the screen. When I was checking out of the room I searched through all of the Roku menus but couldn’t find a way to logout from my account. Presumably anyone who stays in that room will be accessing channels that Roku doesn’t natively offer through my DIRECTV account. I’d like to disconnect my account from that Roku device and am asking if someone is familiar with how to do this from the DIRECTV website because I can’t seem to find a way so far.

You definitely can’t logout from the Directv website and I’m pretty sure the only way to logout from that device is on that device. I’m not familiar with the Roku or the NBC app on the Roku so I can’t answer how or where to that but I’m quite confident it can only be done from that device.

What Roku App were you using to view NBC?

Perhaps you could remove that App from the Roku menu?

Was the app on a Roku external device or a Roku TV?

As far as I could tell the Roku device was separate from the TV and it was some sort of commercial Roku offering for hotels to use.  It's not like a personal Roku you'd buy in a store.  In the end I called the hotel and asked the folks at the front desk to terminate my login.  Presumably they can do that by resetting the device to clear any cached credentials and then reconnecting it to the hotel WiFi network.  One of the few options in the Roku menu was a reset but I didn't want to perform that in case it no longer would work for future guests without the hotel staff setting it back up again.

Had the same issue on vacation. When selecting a channel, click Down, then account, then logout. This worked on a TCL Roku TV, not sure about model.

Before finding that, I had also tried deleting the channel but that did NOT work, my account was still associated with it when I added it back.
