Every single TV provider at one point drops a channel (s) and has to negotiate to keep others. You never signed any sort of agreement that these channels would absolutely be kept.

If you cancel, so be it. What’s the point of spending money on a provider that doesn’t have your channels?

Because TV providers do not own the channels, they have in ther Terms of Service (ToS) that programming (channels and the content on them) are subject to change. So on that end it is what you signed up for.

Is you local channel gone completely, temporarily off as they go through their contract negotiations, or is the channel there but the content you want moved to a sub-channel? What is your zip code/county? Perhaps other users have more details on that situation.

As for OANN, that is old news from months ago. AT&T/DirecTV decided to stop doing business with them and just let the last carriage agreement run out. There is no obligation they carry that channel. If you cannot live without it then yes you will need to look into other options to watch them.
