MHZ Removal, is it permanent?
I loved MHZ tv. It was on Channel 2183. It has been removed and Direct TV has no answer for why or what might be offered in its stead.
Would love to know if this is a permanent removal or if the channel will be changed in the future.
It seems every time I turn around another channel has been removed.

As of 11:59 PM on September 30, 2019: MHz Worldview (Ch. 2183) is no longer available on DIRECTV.
You can stream their programming. Visit the following URL for info and subscription info.

DTV is moving the international channels to the HD sats. This is a customer to customer forum DTV doesn't tell us anything.

So, is there a way to ask this question to someone official? I can't find any 'contact' method for ATT/DirecTV

I am really unhappy with my move to ATT Dish. First I lost several channels due to "ongoing negotiations"for several months. Now, 2183 is gone which I followed many shows on. These shows are not available on Netflix or Hulu. Why do I keep getting charged the same price for less channels?

DirecTV (not Dish, that is another company) deal with carriage negotiations like any other provider. What is happening there is that channels increase their costs over the years and TV providers are trying to keep rates from going up as much. When there costs go up then our bills go up. Unfortunately this is becoming more common for local affiliate channels. Less channels doesn't mean that remaining channels aren't charging more. Costs of most things go up. After all you don't see fuel at $0.99 a gallon anymore.
The old MPEG-2 (SD only) feeds have been shutting down since April 2019. As a result, DirecTV is in the process of shuffling broadcasts around. Call center agents will not have the info on that as is in-house maintenance that they are not part of. If there are any permanent changes to channel numbers or if a channel will no longer be available at all, they should have the info for that. But something unavailable during the shuffle, especially if it wasn't supposed to have any significant interruption, they probably have no info on.

Ahh so channel no longer available through DirecTV at all. That clear is up. Though Sept 30 would be a month and a half ago so interesting people who watch it seem to be just finding out now.

mhzchoice.com. It would have been nice if ATT/DirecTV would have warned
us about the discontinuance. Now I've got an extra dish on my roof.
