Those were part of the "Pandemic Preview", free channels that you received during the height of the pandemic.  It stopped on July 31.  If you want them now, you'll have to pay.

Apparently we received free channels as part of the Pandemic Preview, now, as a customer I didn't know any of this, until I called when I noticed a lot of channels missing. I would have thought that At&t / DirecTV would have put that they were doing the Pandemic Preview and notified us on our bill. And also notified us that it was going away on July 31. I find it not fair no one knew about this Pandemic Preview. What did it cost At&t/ DirecTV to give their customers the free channels, not to much. They need a package where you pick your channels and pay for what you pick. I don't need sports, or Spanish channels. NOTIFY YOUR CUSTOMERS, Communication is key to good customer service.

The content providers will never allow any TV providers to let customers pick their own channels.

@cedge  receivers have "tv mail" that notifies customers of freeview and other things. To access tv mail hit info on the remote,  on the top banner scroll to the left to the envelope icon once highlighted click select

When I called ATT to indicate I no longer get the weather channel, 362,  they said changes were made and to now get that channel, the cost is $40 more a month, which includes 35 other channels I do not want.  Sorry, that is OUT of my league!!!!!
